I may be bad but I’m perfectly good at it.
โ Rihanna.
This is my first time blogging. I’m 17 years old and write about things I wish I’d known earlier and things I learn everyday. I would also love to do a post on any of your requests. I hope you guys like it. Let me know any suggestions or queries in the comments section and stay tuned for more.
Who doesn’t right. Big bust, small waist and wide hips. We see this body type everyday. Especially on social media. From Kim Kardashian to Beyoncรฉ. The truth is no one is actually born with this body. Yes some lucky ones may have wider bust and butt and small waist but no one is born with that Kylie Jenner type figure.
I have actually spent months searching about why is everyone so obsessed with it and is it even possible for normal people like you and I to get it?
Well for starters its is scientifically proven that men are attracted to women with hourglass figure. Well that explains the hype. It is also said that women with hourglass figures have a higher fertility rate. Now the main part. Is it even worth trying to get this hourglass shape? Can we even get it without spending hundreds of dollars?
What is your body type currently. Take a look below to find out.
If this doesn’t help then take a measuring tape, measure you hips, waist and breasts. Now go onto this link and enter them there.
2. Let actually understand what the hourglass shape actually is. Hourglass is when you have have a lot of muscle in your butt and hips, which gives you a bubble butt and gets rid of your hip dips. You stomach is flat with abs of some sort and a clinched waist. Now one common misconception is that hourglass figure needs a big chest. But actually it requires broad shoulders. Not like bulky ones. But just an upper body that is clearly bigger than your waist and similar to you lower body.
3. Now there is no shortcut to getting the hourglass shape or ANY body shape. You have to workout, find what’s suitable for your body type, see if you need to follow a diet and most importantly train for the body type YOU want.
4. These apps are amazing for people just getting into fitness. You can go to the gym and hire a good personal trainer who can actually provide what you need. Or you can use the apps below to just start on your own and find out what you like, don’t like, suitable time for workouts. Try this for 2-3 months and then join the gym if you want to with a clear idea of exactly what you want.
Headspace (meditation for a calm mindset, trust me really helps during exercises. You can use any meditation podcasts on Spotify or the Apple Podcasts app as well)
5. Now I’m just going to describe how you should typically be working out.
Train you butt and legs one day
Abs and arms the next
Never forget cardio
To get a big butt and build any kind of muscle you need to be in a calorie surplus (eat more calories daily). But now for a flat stomach you need to be in a calorie deficit (eat less calories daily). These two obviously clash. So if you need to lose A LOT of fat on your stomach then first focus on losing weight. But if you don’t mind gaining a few pounds then get right to building muscle.
Now when you’re building muscle you will gain some weight so you want to do a bit of cardio here and there which helps you lose fat and only leave the muscle behind. And this is exactly what we’re trying to do
Here’s my typical routine
Day 1 butt and legs
Day 2 abs and arms (my butt and legs are sore from the day before so they are rested)
Day 3 Cardio (HIIT workouts or just running)
Day 4 butt and legs
Day 5 abs and arms
Day 6 usually rest but if I’m not sore than workout. When I do butt and legs I’m sore the next day so I day abs and arms. Then my abs N arms get sore and butt and legs are fine again.
Day 7 Cardio
Avoid THIS-
Don’t overdo or undergo cardio (don’t do it too many days a week and don’t skip it either. 2-3 days cardio max, but not 1. Cardio shouldn’t exceed 40 mins)
Don’t overdo on legs. Now what happens is when you build muscle on your legs you get really bulky legs. So build muscle till where you desire and then focus on toning your legs. If you want thick thighs go focus on the legs!
Don’t train side abs. When you train something it grows. When you train the sides of your abs ( obliques) it will grow. And if its grows you will have abs but not a clinched waist. If clinched waist is not your desire then get those six packs.
Don’t underestimate calories. May it be calorie surplus or calorie deficit but please keep a track of them. Don’t stick to a Strict diet but a healthy one. And never punish yourself for eating junk.
Exercise in good form. Don’t injure yourself trying to do any exercises.
Have a healthy mindset. Don’t hate yourself or get upset cause you missed one day of exercise or had one unhealthy meal. If you go off track just come back on again.
6. Of course when I say hourglass body or as the slang slim thick body a healthy face, hair and nails goes with it. Read my skincare article to learn how to maintain a healthy skin. Haircare article for healthy hair and you can highlight, dye and get extensions; Baddie nails article for cheap baddie nails in fleeeek.
Headspace (meditation for a calm mindset, trust me really helps during exercises. You can use any meditation podcasts on Spotify or the Apple Podcasts app as well)
Once you’re comfortable and ACTUALLY working out consistently you can move forward
Buy equipment at home (glute bands, dumbbells, a small simple bench, resistance bands. None of these are over $10)
Join a gym near your home
Get a personal trainer and make sure he/she KNOWS what your requirements are
The only instant results is surgeries. And if you want to get something done go for it. But make sure you are handled by a good experienced surgeon and that you know exactly what you are doing to what part of your body.
Some surgeries you can do to get an hourglass shape is tummy tuck, Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL is the MOST safe butt enhancement, Kim K got this and so many more celebrities), Brest augmentation (only if you want cause like I said big boobs isn’t really necessary), Arm suction (just sucks fat off your arms and armpits) and body toning.
If you want changes done to your face then you can get lip fillers (use hyaluron only), nose job, microblading (for eyebrows) or jaw alignment. Today you can literally get anything you want changed but make sure you won’t regret it later ๐
So guys this was like a basic guide to getting an hourglass shape. There’s actually a lot more that you will need to know but this is like a startup. These are the things you should just know before actually getting into it. I will be writing another article soon where I’ll tell you how to actually GET the hourglass shape with this you guys can at least begin your journey.
We have all asked this question at least once in our life. How do we change our lives? May it be about a relationship, work, your family/kids or even something as ‘permanent’ as YOURSELF. I’m going to go a little more deep into this
Most of us are argue with our family, stressed from work life , not able to handle kids or literally just not able to live with ourselves. Why does this happen?
Something many don’t realise is that EVERYTHING in our life depends on US. Now you would be like how in the hell do I change my boss? or how do I ‘stop’ my anxiety? How can you change any of this? I know you have probably read this everywhere starting from Pinterest to books but the ONLY way of CHANGING something PERMANENTLY is to change YOURSELF.
Now by that I don’t mean go and cute your hair or change your personality. When was the last time you spent time on yourself? If you are stuck in your life right now, may it be emotionally, mentally or financially why don’t you just try the following:
Meditation- Not for long, why don’t we start with just 5 minutes a day? The app Headspace is my personal favourite and worldwide loved.
Reading- ‘Dear Stranger I Know How You Feel’. This book literally helps you through SO MUCH. Maybe just try looking it up?
Exercise- Jog, run, gym anything you want. Can’t get yourself to do any of that? Why don’t we just jump 15 times each morning.
Seek help- I am no therapist. None of us are unless we actually understand psychology. Seek professional help. It helps. Did you know that 40% patients just come to talk about their day? Like literally whether its good or bad. They just quant to talk. If you feel like you just need to let out than maybe you can try talking to someone very close to you.
Find passion- Maybe the reason you overthink about something is because what else do you have to do? Do you ever look at someone mentally stable and think how do they not overthink? Like just how? Maybe because they have something that matter to them MORE than the problem in their life. Or in many cases there isn’t even a problem. It just in your head. What if you had an activity or business you actually LOVED would you actually pay that much attention to the issue in your life right now. Probably not right? So start today and find something.
Another thing is really helpful. Avoid violent, hateful things on social media, TV and things around you. Try watching calm, peaceful and most importantly what makes you happy.
I think one of the main things we neglect is energy. Every one of us have only so little energy. And we really take it for granted. Thats why after a day full of fighting, overthinking and anxiety, we are left feeling so mentally exhausted. Take all that energy and put it somewhere else. Just do one little step at a time and notice the difference.
I hope you guys found this helpful. This is a very less percentage of what actually goes into change yourself. But I just wanted to start from the very basics. Please leave a comment if you guys want to know more! Love you all.
Hey guys. We all love those long coffin nails like Kylie Jenner but they are sooo time consuming and not very practical as you have to go to the salon every time. Here are a few alternatives for the same results.
Buy clear acrylic nails (in any shape you desire) from the drugstore or amazon for a few bucks. Along with that buy a well known and safe nail glue. Make sure your nails are in good condition and clean. Now shape those nails according to your nail bed size and apply those fake nails on your nails. Now simple buff and file them according to your desire length and shape. Apply a base coat and gel polish of any colour (gel polish because they last really long). You can also apply nail decals of your choice (also from drugstores or amazon for really cheap).
And there you go. You have beautiful nails at home in significantly less time and price!
If you don’t want to do all that you can simply buy acrylic press on nails. They cost around $20 but I personally prefer them over the home procedure. They are basically like hand made acrylics that you can reuse for a long period of time if used properly. They are very easy to apply. I will list a few good websites below. First choose a nail set you like. Check the sizes available or ask for a customised size (no extra charges in most cases). Make sure you choose the right size, length and colour you want. You can also ask for a few customisations in the drop boxes during check out. Shipping costs and time may vary from where you live but it is worth it. Once you receive them just simply buff your natural nails if needed and make sure they’re in healthy condition. Most times when you order nail sets you receive nail tabs with them and an instruction booklet. Just make sure to follow it correctly and you can reuse those nails for a long period of time.
And thats how you can have any nails you want on a budget. I hope you guys enjoyed reading if you have any queries, suggestions, requests please leave a comment. Thank you! Also in the comments section let me know which nails are your favourite type!

Hey loves! Everything you need to know about nail shapes, lengths, the best type for you is all here. Take a good read and enjoy.
How would describe your natural nails? Without any nail polish and extensions. Have they lost their shine? Are they really thin or thick? Are they brittle? How’s the texture? You always need to make sure that you understand your natural nail’s health and maintain it.
Here are the basic rules:
Do not bite your nails. I know for some people its really habitual but try using one of those nail lotions which are reallyyy bitter. They are basically meant to stop you from biting your nails because of its bitterness
Use cuticle oils. Almost any cuticle oil would do the job. Even vaseline could work.
Give your nails a certain shape. Find out what your favourite shape is and try growing your nails in that shape.
If you wear a lot of acrylic/gel nails like me make sure that you take a week off and let your natural nails breathe.
If you like growing your natural nails then make sure you have a lot of calcium intake to prevent them from breaking and chipping off. There are a few nail calciums in the market as well.
Treat yourself with a mani pedi once a month. You deserve it ๐

Acrylics : Acrylic nails are absolutely amazing. You decide the colour, length and its basically created on your nail. They are really durable and stay up to a month if maintained properly. A fake nail is applied to your nail and then an acrylic solution is applied on top with a brush to make it durable. After the month is over you could simple go back to your salon and ask for a filling for half the prices you already have a base. They are pretty strong for everyday work. This is good for everyday workers or for vacation nails.
Gel Nails: Gel nails are as the name suggests gel based. The gel is spread out in the fake nail of your nail size and then applied on your nail. They are also very strong but if you accidentally apply too much pressure then your natural nail may come off. Acrylic nail base is formed on a fake nail which is then applied on your real nail but gel nails is directly applied on your real nails making it a little more risky.
Press on nails: These are ready made and one of the most common extensions. You just have to make sure you choose the right size. You just have to glue it using nail glue on your real nails. They are strong for the first 2 days but then the nail glue starts wearing off causing it to fall off or get really loose. Its the most least likely to hurt your natural nails if you use a good nail glue. Press ons come as press on acrylics and plastic. Press on acrylics are ready made acrylics that are stronger and may last longer. Plastic ones are relatively weak and may be harmful .These are good for someone wishing for extensions for a specific event or day. These are probably the easiest nail extensions.
Fibre Glass Nails: Fibre Glass is basically glass on your nails. No I don’t mean prices of glass. But rather strands of it. Strands of fibre glass are pasted on your nail. Then they are hardened using a solution giving it a glass like finish. In the end it does look like any other nail. These are very strong but just as gel nails once they’re directly applied on your natural nails if it does ever break your natural nail can be seriously harmed. These art that commonly applied and will probably be hard to find in most places.
Always remember to take care of your natural nails first.
I hope you guys found this useful. Let me know anything in the comments section below!

Hey guys. This post will basically be all about skincare. Honestly skincare excites me as much as makeup and glam does. Skincare should always come first especially to all those out there who have hectic schedules. Here are a few tips I wish I’d known sooner and some extras. Hope you guys like it!
Know your skin type. Its very important that you know your skin type. You should always try to buy products that would help you get rid of your certain problems or products that work well with your skin. buying products that don’t suit your skin may cause some short term or long term effects on your skin. For example, if your skin’s pH is low then you should opt for products that are supposed to balance skin’s pH level. I would recommend Neutrogena ‘s mild facial cleanser. This face wash goes with MOST skin types and balances your pH and leaves your skin feeling soft. This might help you figuring out your skin type/s.
Also note that it is completely possible to have more than one skin type such as a combination of dry, oily and acne-prone.
Have a skincare routine. I know how hard it can be to maintain a skincare routine because of the hectic routines, deadlines and stuff. But trust me its really important that you have one. Here’s one of the most standard routines that even I go by.
Just taking out 10 mins every morning and night will give you amazing results and could leave you mesmerised with your own skin. Regardless of your skin type your daily/nightly routines won’t change. The only thing your skin type affects is the products used.
Visit a dermatologist for best results. if you know your skin is very acne prone or extremely sensitive then its best to pay the dermatologist a visit. This is even for people who have a normal skin type. The dermatologist will simple tell you which substances should certain products have in order for you to get the best results of your skin.
A few tips. Exfoliate (not to hard). Do face masks (clay, sheet etc). Meditate. Use clean sheets. Stay positive. Drink water. Eat fruits. Always remove make up. Use makeup that doesn’t harm YOUR skin type. Use eye roller balls. Detox masks. Make own face masks if you want
Know your brands. This is very important when it comes to products that go on the skin. Don’t just buy things because of their aesthetic looks or trend. buy products that your skin likes. I actually mean it. When it comes to skin you don’t get to decide what products to use but your skin does. See which products make your skin softer, which make it dry, if your skin is prone to acne than a face wash that clears off your skin of the oils would be the best.
Here are few of the best affordable brands I know:
Neutrogena
Forest Essentials
Lanฤome
Glossier
Sephora (for face masks; one of the best ones Ive ever used)
There are many high end/luxury skincare products which I would also recommend but I’ll write about it in another post.
And whatever happens remember guys you’re all beautiful in your own skin! Skin care isn’t about getting the standard skin that Insta model’s have BUT maintaining a HEALTHY SKIN for YOURSELF. And the best way to to do is staying positive and happy.
I have a lot more to tell you guys but I’ll write more posts for it. I hope you guys enjoyed please let me know anything in the comments below and share with your friends!
Clothes are a main part of a good lifestyle. Maintaining a good wardrobe which is also cost friendly is also important. In today’s blog I’ll write about a few important points we always miss.
Know your body. This is a very important factor. Dress according to your body type. If you don’t like being too tall wear outfits that create a short illusion and vice versa. If you are petite then cami dresses, tops are a good fit for you. If you are curvy then thigh fit outfits would be great for you.
Find the brands. Once you know the right fit of clothes for your body type you just have to find the right brands. Pretty Little Thing has amazing baddie clothes just in budget. You could buy a few higher costing/luxury products like belts/coats/shoes that go with cheaper outfits. Fashion Nova is another well known brand that is pretty affordable. Avoid buying ready to wear luxury products. Instead style outerwear high end products (bomber jackets, coats, heels, bags etc) that could be worn with almost anything.
Accessorise. Accessories are a very important part. You’re dress could simple black but with high end sneakers and a statement jackets you’re outfit will pop. Now these high end sneakers can be worn with any other outfits for a long period of time while still maintaining your budget.
Coupons. Make sure you ALWAYS check for coupons when purchasing. There are usually coupon codes on the brand’s social media pages or Instagram influencers have their own discount codes that you should always look for. This can always help cut down your bill by at least 20%-30%.
Buy diverse luxury products. Like I mentioned before when buying costlier items always make sure you buy things that can be dressed and styled with almost anything. Don’t buy Gucci or Chanel items that are ‘trendy’. The trend will die soon and you will be left wanting to buy the new arrivals. this absolutely defeats the purpose of being within a budget. Which is why you should buy items that will always look good and can go with anything. This way you feel good and stay within you’re budget limit.
Be confident. However you style your outfits or whatever you wear make sure you carry it with confidence.
Check the quality. Quality is very important. Even if its a thrift store item but you find it of good quality wear it and flaunt it.
Wear what you’re comfortable in. Don’t wear something that you don’t feel good yourself in. Just because some Instagram model or your friends telling you what is ‘trendy’ shouldn’t force you into wearing anything you don’t want to. Always keep your comfort first and b confident ๐
Hope you guys enjoyed. Let me know anything in the comment section below!
